Trees for All Seasons

South Carolina honors trees. The Palmetto Palm and the crescent symbol grace the state flag.

Lady’s Island and the Beaufort, SC area  are blessed with the magnificence of our mighty oaks and magnolias. But as we walk and study the bounty of our historic area we see that the abundant richness and diversity of the trees requires sharing.

We have a beautiful city. We are challenged to identify the many beautiful trees growing in the gardens of our citizens. We are inspired to develop a tree walk that will enable us to share this abundance. Click here for more about the Beaufort Tree Walk.
